About me
My name is Rafael Werner.
I was born in Basel, grew up in the Basel region, and have lived in Basel since 2014. I studied German and history at the University of Basel.
My interests include grammar, sports, music, and art. I'm Swiss and am familiar with almost all regions of the country.
In Basel I like to lie by the Rhine, play tennis or attend the reading society. My jogging route leads around the zoo, my favorite walk is to Bottmingen Castle or via Huningue (F) to Weil am Rhein (D) and back to Basel.
I regularly visit all the museums in the region and enjoy eating in our restaurants. My favorite parks are the Schützenmattpark, the Nachtigallenwäldlein and the Pruntrutter Matte.
I would be happy to give you excursion tips for the Basel region and the whole of Switzerland.
